"Bugs" is a very general term that people like to use when they talk about all the little creepy-crawlies that we see every day. It's not very specific, and has come to include such diverse critters as insects, spiders and other arachnids, worms, slugs and snails, millipedes, tadpoles, and occasionally even bats!
